September 2024 is the 47th National "Quality Month". In order to fully implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, assist in quality construction, and create a good atmosphere where everyone values, pursues, advocates, and cares about quality, combined with the actual situation of the company, Dafang Holdings Group has launched a series of quality month activities with the theme of "Enhancing Quality Awareness and Building Quality Dafang", aiming to continuously improve the group's quality management level, promote Dafang's stable and high-quality development. 

Carefully Planned and Deployed

At the end of August, Dafang held the launch ceremony of the "Quality Month" activity. The conference promoted the spirit of the "Quality Month" activity and established a "Quality Month" activity leadership group. Through activities such as product quality promotion and display, quality long-distance travel, quality knowledge training and typical case sharing, welding quality evaluation, QC group progress reporting and review,as well as quality improvement project implementation and solidification inspection, this series of activities not only created a strong quality culture atmosphere, but also foreshadowed that Dafang will deliver a heavy and high-level quality month answer sheet.

Strengthen Publicity and Create an Atmosphere

On September 1, in order to create a strong cultural atmosphere of "Quality Month", publicity materials such as "Quality Month" special billboards and banners were generously made and posted in front of the office building and the main passageways of the production site. Quality slogans were played on the indoor and outdoor electronic screens in a rolling manner, actively creating a strong atmosphere for all staff to care about and attach importance to quality, and comprehensively improving staff's quality awareness. 

High Standard Execution of Quality Inspection

During the Quality Month event, Cao Xiangyang, Chairman and General Manager of Dafang Heavy Machine Company, led key personnel from production, technology, quality assurance and other departments to visit the production site multiple times, personally inspecting every production process and strictly controlling product quality. At the request of Cao Xiangyang, Dafang people not only strictly screen raw materials, but also finely control the production process, and comprehensively inspect the finished products. Every detail is not overlooked, reflecting an enterprise's ultimate pursuit and unremitting efforts for quality. 

Quality and Craftsmanship, Guarding Thousands of Miles

On September 2nd, the grand 2024 Quality Miles Tour event with the theme of "Quality and Craftsmanship, Guarding Thousands of Miles" kicked off. According to the pre planned "Quality Miles Activity Plan", Dafang Quality Miles technical team conducted follow-up visits to key customers, collected opinions and suggestions from end customers on the design, production, installation, and use of the company's products, and summarized, implemented, and improved the feedback information.  At present, we have conducted follow-up visits to customers in Hunan, Hebei, Beijing, Guangxi, and Hainan regions, and achieved good results.

Organize Training to Enhance Skills

From September 13th to 21st, the Quality Assurance Department organized quality and process knowledge training for key process team members, inspectors, and dispatchers of cranes. The Sales Department organized typical after-sales case sharing and promotion activities that occurred from January to August. The Technical Quality Department organized professional knowledge training activities for construction steel and bridges to learn from experience and lessons, improve skills, and promote quality improvement. 

Quality Evaluation, Smooth welding 

From September 14th to 23rd, the Quality Assurance Department organized a welding quality evaluation activity, while the Technical Quality Department organized a steel structure bridge production and painting quality evaluation activity. According to the technical requirements and quality standard evaluation form, the welding quality and painting quality of each welding team's products were rated separately, and the operational skills of the welding and painting personnel were tested through scoring and evaluation. 

The Dafang Quality Month activity is still in full swing. The activity has revealed to us the hardships and efforts behind quality, as well as the secrets behind high-quality products. At the same time, it has greatly improved the quality management level of all Dafang employees, promoted the dual improvement of work quality and product quality, and enabled Dafang to move forward courageously on the road of "building quality integrity and building a strong quality country".
